Hi! My name is Christine and I am the owner of Search in the City. My love of creating scavenger hunts started during the dog days of summer in my suburban neighborhood as a child. During that season, you could find me any day of the week at the pool. However, there were rare days where I needed a break from the chlorine water and constantly beating UV rays. On these days, my best friend and I would create scavenger hunts. Afterwards, we would return to the pool and share our newly formed game with our neighborhood peers.

As the years went by, doing a scavenger hunt was my go-to way of creating something special for someone’s birthday. What better gift than that? Right?

Luckily, I organized a scavenger hunt for the right friend, and she recommended my services to her business. They hired me in 2014, and I have been doing scavenger hunts professionally ever since.

The first thing I did when I booked my first professional gig was call my long time childhood best friend and said, “Remember when we used to make scavenger hunts for the neighborhood? Now, I’m doing it for a living!”
